Sree Chaitanya Mahaprabhu appeared in this very Kaliyuga of Vaivasvata Manvantara by taking the form and mode of worship of Srimati Radharani, principally to taste the sweetness of Supreme Lord Krishna.
Simultaneously He also distributed Sree Krishna-prema to all, irrespective of caste, creed and religion. He is the Highest Munificent Form of Godhead.
Although He is Supreme Lord, He takes the Form of devotee to teach others about how to love Sree Krishna, by practising Himself. So it is very essential to go through His teachings— ‘Shikshashtaka’.
